"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."

L I S H A S O N G
INTUITIVE TRAUMA THERAPIST
My journey toward becoming a therapist started when I was 18 years old, a freshman in college, sitting in my therapist’s office realizing that if everyone had some therapy, the world would be a better place. For the first time in my life, I didn't feel permanently damaged. I came to understand that family dynamics and relationships can have a profound impact on a kid's development into adulthood. Over 35 years later, I still believe that. I believe most of us have trauma and pain from the past, which haunt us and our current relationships. Therapy is one of many tools in the recovery and healing process. As your therapist, my relationship with you is a collaborative, respectful, and professional one. My role is to guide and help you uncover the truth about yourself and empower you as you progress toward your true potential, your authentic Self. I do this through the meaningful connection of spirit, mind & body. Therapeutic approaches include: EMDR Therapy, Ego State Therapy, Imaginal Nurturing, Somatic Attachment Therapy, Spiritual Resourcing, Imagination, Visualization, and Meditative Exercises.
MY CLIENTS… are people ages 16+ who want to experience something other than conventional talk therapy....
They want to experience profound healing & resolution in their lives so they can evolve into the humans they are meant to be without being stuck in therapy for years. If this is you, please contact me so we can get started on your personal transformation journey as soon as possible!

Love After Love by Derek Walcott
The time will come
when, with elation
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror
and each will smile at the other's welcome,
and say, sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you
all your life, whom you ignored
for another, who knows you by heart.
Take down the love letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs, the desperate notes,
peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit. Feast on your life.
Testimonials

"My life took a new turn the day I started working with Lisha Song. Her training and techniques were foreign to me, but I began to heal on a much deeper level than I ever had, despite all the traditional forms of talk therapy that I had experienced.
She gave a voice to my wounded inner child and taught me how to listen to that voice in order to understand what was needed.
She showed me how to heal. She led me to the answers and, when I was ready, she gave back the reins confident that I could navigate whatever came my way, wherever the road may lead.
She was right. I still use the tools that she taught me every day. Not only have I moved forward, but I have reclaimed my life, my dreams, and my potential...all from a place that I never thought was possible." -Pamela

"Lisha has a gentle approach to direct the personal healing process that did not compare to the traditional talk therapy I experienced in the past. I appreciated her authenticity in sharing her own experiences and stories. As a skilled and knowledgeable guide, she has given me lifelong tools to continue to evolve beyond my circumstances. Thank you Lisha!"

“I’ve had CBT in the past and was curious about EMDR in helping to address past trauma and its effects on my current life and relationships. Lisha is such a gifted healer. She brings such compassion, connection and insight to her work. It was deep work that really shifted things in such a healing and positive way... it's hard to articulate in words how profound this experience was. I so enjoyed sharing this journey with her and highly recommend her to anyone who is open and curious about this process.” -Tracy
It's my belief that everyone should have the opportunity to heal, and feel integrated & whole
Let me show you how to befriend your wounded parts so that you can experience the freedom that comes with integration, and the love that comes from embracing these parts of you.
